Welcome to "My Journey," a channel created by your friendly neighborhood adventure junkie, Eu Gene! I'm the kind of guy who thinks a comfortable ride is overrated and would rather explore the world on a skateboard, unicycle, or pogo stick (if I could master it).
As a passionate motorcycle rider and traveler, I live by the motto of "Race the Rain, Ride the Wind, and Chase the Sunsets!" But let's be honest, there are times when I end up racing the wind, riding the rain, and chasing my own tail instead.
I've travelled to 78 countries across the globe and have made plenty of mistakes along the way, from ordering food I couldn't pronounce to getting lost in translation with the locals. But hey, that's what makes it an adventure, right?

Ducati Multistrada Adventure 1200: Epic Road Trip from Cape Town to Alexander Bay via Veldrif and Port Nolloth
Get ready to join me on an unforgettable adventure as I hit the road on my brand-new Ducati Multistrada 1200 to explore Namibia's stunning Fish River Canyon! Although COVID-19 restrictions were still in place in South Africa back in June 2021, I was determined to make the most of the situation and document my journey on my first-ever Go Pro video.
Along the way, I encountered a number of challenges that put my riding skills and determination to the test, but the breathtaking landscapes and picturesque vistas made it all worth it. Sadly, due to the restrictions, I wasn't able to reach Fish River Canyon on this trip, but that just gives me even more motivation to plan my next adventure.
So buckle up and get ready for an epic ride that will leave you craving for more as I share my passion for adventure and the open road with you!
