Let’s Go Somewhere!

About My Travels

Welcome to "My Journey," a channel created by your friendly neighborhood adventure junkie, Eu Gene! I'm the kind of guy who thinks a comfortable ride is overrated and would rather explore the world on a skateboard, unicycle, or pogo stick (if I could master it).

As a passionate motorcycle rider and traveler, I live by the motto of "Race the Rain, Ride the Wind, and Chase the Sunsets!" But let's be honest, there are times when I end up racing the wind, riding the rain, and chasing my own tail instead.

I've travelled to 78 countries across the globe and have made plenty of mistakes along the way, from ordering food I couldn't pronounce to getting lost in translation with the locals. But hey, that's what makes it an adventure, right?

So join me on this wild ride as I share my experiences, insights, and the occasional dad joke. After all, who said travelling can't be both fun and informative? Let's go somewhere and make some memories!

Explore the Hidden Gem of Northern Cape: Tankwa Karoo Padstal

Join me on a journey to Tankwa Padstal, an oasis situated on the R355, Breede River DC, 80 km away from Ceres and 220 km from Cape Town. Known for being the site of an alleged UFO crash landing, this place may seem very dry, but it's full of adventure waiting to be discovered. Let's go somewhere and explore the longest dirt road in South Africa together!
