Welcome to "My Journey," a channel created by your friendly neighborhood adventure junkie, Eu Gene! I'm the kind of guy who thinks a comfortable ride is overrated and would rather explore the world on a skateboard, unicycle, or pogo stick (if I could master it).
As a passionate motorcycle rider and traveler, I live by the motto of "Race the Rain, Ride the Wind, and Chase the Sunsets!" But let's be honest, there are times when I end up racing the wind, riding the rain, and chasing my own tail instead.
I've travelled to 78 countries across the globe and have made plenty of mistakes along the way, from ordering food I couldn't pronounce to getting lost in translation with the locals. But hey, that's what makes it an adventure, right?

CDBA Day 1
Exploring Barrydale, Ronnies Sex Shop, Oudtshoorn and Louvain Guest Farm in CDBA Day 1
As I set off on a 3-day adventure from Cape Town to Lovain Guest Farm in Oudtshoorn, I had no idea of the incredible experiences that lay ahead. Our journey started in Cape Town, where we set off on our trusty dual bikes, taking in the stunning scenery and winding roads as we made our way towards Paarl.
After a quick pitstop in Paarl, we continued our journey towards our first destination, Barrydale. Here, we stopped for a leisurely lunch, taking in the charming small-town atmosphere and sampling the delicious local cuisine.
Next up was a visit to the infamous Ronnies Sex Shop, a quirky and unconventional bar that has become a must-visit destination for anyone travelling through the area. With its colourful decor and lively atmosphere, Ronnies Sex Shop was the perfect place to stop for a drink and soak up the unique vibe of the area.
Our adventure then took us to Oudtshoorn, where we stopped for a refreshing drink and a chance to stretch our legs before making our way to our final destination, Louvain Guest Farm. Here, we met up with the rest of the boys and girls for the CDBA 2022 Dual Bike Adventures, ready to embark on the ultimate biking adventure.
With its stunning scenery, winding roads, and charming small towns, our journey from Cape Town to Lovain Guest Farm was a truly unforgettable experience. Join me as I recount our adventures, from the bustling streets of Cape Town to the quirky charm of Ronnies Sex Shop and the rugged beauty of Oudtshoorn. And, of course, don't miss out on the incredible biking adventures that await in CDBA.
