Welcome to "My Journey," a channel created by your friendly neighborhood adventure junkie, Eu Gene! I'm the kind of guy who thinks a comfortable ride is overrated and would rather explore the world on a skateboard, unicycle, or pogo stick (if I could master it).
As a passionate motorcycle rider and traveler, I live by the motto of "Race the Rain, Ride the Wind, and Chase the Sunsets!" But let's be honest, there are times when I end up racing the wind, riding the rain, and chasing my own tail instead.
I've travelled to 78 countries across the globe and have made plenty of mistakes along the way, from ordering food I couldn't pronounce to getting lost in translation with the locals. But hey, that's what makes it an adventure, right?

Keurboom River Cabin - Day 1
Exploring the Garden Route: Day 1 from Cape Town to Plettenberg Bay at Keurboom River Cabin
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and join us on an idyllic getaway to the breathtaking Keurboom River Nature Reserve Capenature. Our first day was spent in the luxurious Whiskey Creek Cabin, nestled amongst lush vegetation and offering breathtaking views of the tranquil river.
The nature reserve is a nature lover's paradise, boasting an abundance of untouched natural beauty with no mobile phone reception to allow for a truly unplugged experience. As we explored the reserve, we discovered scenic canoe trails that wind through pristine landscapes, providing ample opportunities to spot a variety of birdlife and other wildlife.
Our cabin was the perfect retreat, offering a comfortable and cosy space to unwind and recharge. We spent our first day soaking up the peaceful atmosphere, breathing in the fresh air, and taking in the breathtaking views. The cabin was equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for, while still retaining its rustic charm and natural ambience.
